The Alpine Valleys and King Valley regions are the leaders in Italian varietal wines in Australia. Our wine list reflects the quality and passion these Italian and Australian winemakers share. We have matched select wines from these areas with a unique list of wines from Sicily, Campagnia, Calabria, Apulia and Sardegna: the south of Italy.

Our degustation menus are classically southern Italian; with an emphasis on dishes of the old country: menus that have spawned a thousand cook books! With this in mind, it would be odd to present French style wines or wines from around Australia, it just wouldn’t work!

The wines we have chosen are a result of many trips and gourmet tours to Italy, 30 wines that work wonderfully with our Osteria food. We invite guests to take a culinary step and try a wine that would be offered, should they visit Italy.

Expect wine grapes with strange names, like: Aglianico, Negroamaro, Grillo, Cattaratto, Nero di Avola, Grecanico, Fiano, Vermentino, Gaglioppi. Wines of outstanding flavour and quality!
