Villa Gusto’s Kitchen is in safe hands with New Zealand born Neal Gregory (pictured) who has enjoyed a very impressive career since he started at the Sheraton towers on South bank, followed by 4 years at the Hotel Sofitel and Le Restaurant ‘Chef Hat’ Restaurant. He then got the travelling bug and headed overseas where he did a stint in numerous award winning establishments, including in a five star restaurant in a Mandarin Oriental Hotel in the Caribbean, London Intercontinental Hotel with Michelin Star and rosette restaurants throughout country England. He knows his stuff! His skills are unequalled in classic French and a cross – over Italian cuisine for country Victoria.

Neal’s outstanding 5 course degustation menus highlight the wonderful ‘taste alpine’ food produce @ $70 per head.
The villa is the holder of a chef hat in the Age good food guide ( 2006 & 2007).

Neal states. ‘I am constantly inspired by the many cooking styles, fresh and local produce and fusion flavours. In all my travels, I have not seen more diverse range of produce than what is offered in the North East of Victoria. Degustation menus are the only way to treat such wonderful produce.’

And the cooking styles change with the seasons, such as dishes from Toscana, Lombardia or Emillia Romagna. Even dishes from Calabria, Apulia and Sicily find their place on our tables. Our breakfasts also use the freshest local produce.
